The six hubs
Each hub sits at its theme’s centre of gravity — the anchor most of its material hangs off — not at a drawer root. A drawer root is free and legal, and still wrong: a card there has hundreds of unrelated disciplines as neighbours, and neighbours are the point.
Persuasion
Rhetoric is the spine; everything else in this theme is an application of it. Note that Rhetoric is one of the 37 duplicates — it also sits at 2060/24 under Linguistics. Make 1040/9d the live branch and cross-reference the other.

The overwhelming majority of your cards will be your own thinking branching off an anchor. A card on carnivore adaptation is not a missing discipline; it is a descendant of5100/21a, and it will sit among siblings no encyclopedia imagined.
Which is the argument for keeping the keyword index sparse and the hub cards fat: the numbers cannot find your material, because your material is not what was numbered.
